FOLKNESS x BORÅSTAPETER

In collaboration with Boråstapeter, Folkness is releasing a limited collection of patterned Duvets – so don’t wait to get yours! Nyponros features a floral design with a rhythmic, diagonal harlequin pattern of stylized wild roses. Designer Jenny Hahne Gadd created the pattern using paper cutouts, a technique popular in the 1700s and 1800s. The design comes in several colorways – here in a warm, cozy palette with off-white details on a soft, muted terracotta base.

Washing your Folkness-Duvet is simple and convenient! For double duvets, we recommend a washing machine with at least a 7 kg capacity. This is more about the drum size than the weight itself.

  1. Put the entire Duvet into the washing machine as it is.
  2. We suggest using liquid detergent and avoiding fabric softener if possible.
  3. Use a regular wash cycle up to 60 degrees, just like you would for your bedding.
  4. Air dry or tumble dry. Both methods work well. When tumble drying double duvets, you might need to turn the Duvet over and run it a bit longer. Air drying usually takes about 5-7 hours depending on ventilation and temperature. Good outdoor weather can significantly shorten drying time.

How do I wash my Folkness duvet?

Put the duvet in the washing machine.
Run a normal program, up to 60 degrees.

Put the duvet in the dryer, or hang to dry -->
Hang the duvet to air dry on a drying rack or similar. Drying usually takes about 5–6 hours depending on ventilation and airflow.
