At Evelina's home, Christmas is approaching despite the lack of the classic Christmas red color. Instead, our eyes are drawn to some bright Apricot amaryllis that match the terracotta wallpaper in the bedroom nicely. A traditional Christmas decoration is not really Evelina's style. For her, a few simple garlands of green rice, a few fir trees outside the door and carefully selected lighting are enough to create the desired mood.

The bedroom is decorated with a double duvet in the shade Smokey pink from Folkness, a color that some might find a bit controversial for the Christmas season. But for Evelina, it is a completely natural choice. She sticks to earthy shades regardless of the season and instead chooses to add festive elements that are associated with Christmas, but which are not quite so classic.
When we ask about Evelina's best advice for creating a memorable Christmas, she quickly answers: "Let go of the pressure and feel the joy of the fact that Christmas will still come" She thinks the focus should be on what really creates joy. And perhaps she ends with a tip that everyone should adopt: "Why not postpone the Christmas party until after Christmas Eve itself? Who cares about a few stains on the bench and pine needles on the floor? It will still be Christmas".
