In a design collaboration with BorĂ„stapeter, Folkness is releasing a limited collection of patterned Duvets – so don’t miss your chance to get one! Nyponros features a floral design with a rhythmic, diagonal harlequin pattern of stylized wild roses. Designer Jenny Hahne Gadd created the pattern using paper cutouts, a technique popular in the 18th and 19th centuries. The pattern comes in several color options – here shown in a soft, warm lime green shade with warm white details.

Washing your Folkness-Duvet is simple and easy! For double duvets, we recommend a washing machine with at least a 7 kg capacity. This is not about the weight, but the size of the drum.

  1. Put the entire Duvet in the washing machine as it is.
  2. We suggest using liquid detergent. Avoid fabric softener if possible.
  3. Use a regular wash cycle up to 60 degrees, just like you would for bed linens.
  4. Air dry or tumble dry. Both methods work well. When tumble drying double duvets, you might need to turn the Duvet over and dry it a bit longer. Air drying usually takes about 5-7 hours depending on ventilation and temperature. Good outdoor weather can significantly shorten drying time.

How do I wash my Folkness duvet?

Put the duvet in the washing machine.
Run a normal program, up to 60 degrees.

Put the duvet in the dryer, or hang to dry -->
Hang the duvet to air dry on a drying rack or similar. Drying usually takes about 5–6 hours depending on ventilation and airflow.
