Can be washed at 60 degrees, but we usually recommend washing at lower temperatures.
This helps the product last longer and is gentler on the environment.
Modern detergents and washing machines make the difference between 40 and 60 degrees minimal, especially if the item isn’t heavily soiled.
Drying time may be slightly longer with a double duvet. If you use tumble dryer; when the cycle finishes - check if it’s dry. If not, turn it over and run the dryer a bit longer or let it air dry the rest of the way. If you have time, letting it air dry at the end is best, as it keeps the duvet smoother.

Washing your Folkness-Duvet is simple and convenient! For double duvets, we recommend a washing machine with at least a 7 kg capacity. This is not about the weight itself, but the size of the drum.

1. Put the entire Duvet in the washing machine as it is.
2. We suggest using liquid detergent and avoiding fabric softener if possible.
3. Use a regular wash cycle up to 60 degrees, just like you do with your bedding.
4. Air dry or tumble dry. Both methods work well. When tumble drying a double duvet, you might need to turn the Duvet over and dry it a bit longer. Air drying usually takes about 5-7 hours depending on ventilation and temperature. If the weather is good outside, drying time will be much shorter.
